Jose has completed his Google IT support certificate.
He joined Youthful Impact because his friend introduced him to the program. Here is what he has to say.
“I actually love it here. It has some really good benefits: I am learning tech skills, business skills, and earning money. On top of that, I get college credits from my certificate.
When we come to the office to study, we also get snacks and lunch to keep us going .
Learning IT support has been a long journey, but I was excited about getting the hang of IT support.
Jose also plays baseball which led him to develop an app to be an intermediary between parents and coaches. He also wants to integrate a virtual assistant into the app to communicate with his coach.
“I’m a junior in school and even more ready for college and work.”
Jose is developing an app and feeling confident about his IT support skills to ensure the software runs smoothly and efficiently from backend to user interface.
