Laura has completed her IT Support Google Certificate.  She is a junior in college and has earned 9 to 12 college credits by completing this certificate.  She is now working with a Google recruiter to find an entry-level job. 

Laura also came to the office weekly to study, helping other participants between breaks, and encouraging them to keep going. Here is what she has to say about her project.

“As a photographer, I excel at helping my friends and classmates to find their perspectives and build confidence.  Young adults are unaware of the impression they make with their images. An excellent picture should depict the subject’s background, their attitude, and story. “

What I am good at is using my photography skills to help my fellow colleagues find their voice and build their confidence. I create images that convey a narrative regardless of the viewpoint, topic, or setting. “

Now that the Youthful Impact program delivered in partnership with Grow with Google has finished, she says “ I am eager to introduce my advanced technology skills by offering services through my company –  NK’s Couture Photos.”
